Veterinary Schools Invited to Participate in Swine Medicine Talks

Veterinary students, there is a great opportunity to gain more information on swine veterinary medicine! Once again, the Swine Medicine Education Center (SMEC) at Iowa State University will be organizing The Swine Medicine Talks: An AASV and SMECast Series for Veterinary Students for the 2016-2017 academic school year! This is a 3-part swine medicine seminar series, hosted by the AASV student chapter at ISU that will be available by live audio/video stream to other veterinary schools across North America. Speakers will represent a wide range of focus and backgrounds within swine medicine.

Last year, 19 schools enrolled! SMEC is currently enrolling additional schools to participate in this seminar series. It is completely free for schools to participate! The Swine Medicine Talks series is funded by the American Association of Swine Veterinarians Student Recruitment Committee.

If you are interested in enrolling your school or would like more information, please email Chelsea Ruston at rustonc@iastate.edu.
