- Number of New Cases Reported -- Weekly aggregate update of new cases. The USDA’s National Animal Health Laboratory Network (NAHLN) reports 50 positive accessions out of 691 tested at 9 veterinary diagnostic labs for the week ending 9/27/14. There are currently 31 states with at least one confirmed positive case of PEDV. This report also includes information on cases submitted for porcine deltacoronavirus (PDCoV) as well. - A study evaluating the use of the antimicrobial feed additive Sal CURB for PED virus control found that the product is effective under trial conditions. https://www.aasv.org/news/story.php?id=7544
