OMS Speakers Star in #RealPigFarming Video
October 1, 2014 —
The Pork Checkoff’s new social media outreach program #RealPigFarming is empowering farmers to share their real stories with consumers online via Facebook, Twitter, blogs and other social media channels. To help consumers hear and see real pig farmers, the program features a series of videos of farmers answering questions about how pigs are raised today.
The following OMS speakers star in a segment titled: Ask A Pig Farmer - Is The Pork That Pig Farmers Supply Safe to Eat?:
- Brad Greenway (SD)
- Craig Rowles, DVM (IA)
- Carrie Pollard (IL)
Brad, Craig and Carrie explain how farmers are committed to doing the right thing by using science and technology, and PQA Plus training to keep their pigs healthy and produce safe, nutritious pork.
