AASV Session at World Pork Expo Expanded to Include PED

The AASV will hold a members-only session again this year at the World Pork Expo. This year's session, chaired by AASV Vice president Ron Brodersen, is entitled Changes in Veterinary Oversight of Antimicrobials and will examine the issues associated with proposed changes to the veterinary feed directive and antimicrobal residues in cull sows. Also, given the recent introduction of Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea virus into the U.S. swine herd, the session organizers have expanded the agenda to include presentations on this topic as well. The session will be held on Thursday June 6 1:00 - 5:00pm in the Elwell Family Food Center (formerly known as the Tourism Building) at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. There is no pre-registration or fee to attend the session.

The meeting is open to AASV members only.
