Position Announcement: Swine Veterinarian

Zinpro Corporation, the feed industry leader in manufacturing, research and marketing of Performance Minerals®, is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Veterinarian (with a strong interest in swine). This newly created position will join the Research and Nutritional Services team in Eden Prairie, Minn. Applications for this position are being accepted through March 31, 2010.

Qualified applicants should possess a doctoral degree (DVM, PhD) and at least 3 years related experience and/or training. Candidates should have an in-depth understanding of the swine industry. Strong communication skills, analytical abilities and a willingness to travel (40-60%) are also required.

Primary responsibilities include providing technical services to pork producers within the United States and internationally. This position will serve as a liason to the veterinary community and multiple species veterinary associations. The qualified individual will contribute to a focused research program in a team-based approach to performance and value-added nutrition and technologies. Analyzing research data and authoring technical reports are expected.
