Chile finds H1N1 in Turkeys

Agriculture officials in Chile are reporting that the H1N1 Pandemic Influenza Virus has been diagnosed in two turkey flocks approximately 75 miles west of Santiago near the port city of Valparaiso.
Authorities have quarantined the two farms but emphasize that turkey products are safe for human consumption. This is the first time the novel H1N1 virus has been detected in a species other than humans or pigs.
