People on the Move: Dr. Laura Batista

Dr. Laura Batista recently joined the team at the Centre de développement du porc du Québec inc in Quebec, Canada. Dr. Batista will be in charge of swine health research and development at the center. Among her responsibilities she will focus on farm and regional control of PRRSV, development and establishment of integral biosecurity strategies, antibiotic resistance and food safety for the Quebecoise swine industry.
