A global animal health company is looking for a Technical Services Manager for its swine unit.

The position will be responsible for working with key accounts to improve sales of company products specific to species segment. Responsible for working with Sales and Marketing to conduct technical meetings with nutritionists, veterinarians, university people, key customers, key consultants/centers of influence and other personnel that have an influence in the industry. Develop and conduct technical training programs for the sales team and key customer personnel. Develop and publish technical information. Represent company at key industry technical meetings and professional industry organizations.

The qualified candidate will have:

• DVM and/or PhD or equivalent in Animal/Biological/Veterinary Sciences

• Good working knowledge of US animal industry and hands on experience in working with a segment or within segments of the animal or agricultural production industry

• Knowledge of modern industry practices

• Technical integrity

• Knowledge and experience in conducting field trials; demonstrated ability to properly design, conduct and analyze research trial and data

• Good technical writing skills

• Good communications skills

• Ability to travel
