Cornell to Build Veterinary Diagnostic Center

Cornell University is planning to build a new $80 million Animal Diagnostic Center at the school's College of Veterinary Medicine.
The state of New York has agreed to provide $50 million to support design and construction of the 126,000 square-foot Biosafety Level-3 center to consolidate the University's existing diagnostic facilities which are currently located in 12 buildings in the Ithaca area.
The university will provide the remainder of the funding. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2008 with completion set for 2010.
