CSHIN PED Cases Update
June 21, 2017 —
Manitoba: A finisher barn (case #28) in Buffer Area 5 and a nursery (case #27) in Buffer Area 4 tested positive today for PED. The nursery site showed clinical signs of PED prior to testing positive whereas the finisher site was identified as positive through regular surveillance. No additional farms are at risk within the buffer zones due to these two new cases. There are now 234 farms at risk of PED in the buffer areas.
