2017 Podcast Series: Cameron Schmitt
June 3, 2017 — AASV Staff
Every swine veterinarian deals with opportunistic pathogens, almost on a daily basis. These bugs are always in the environment or within the pig, but what makes them cause disease in one pig but not the other; or one barn turn but not the next? Student member Brent Sexton interviewed Dr. Cameron Schmitt who presented "Opportunistic bacterial pathogens: Battles fought in daily practice" in the "Swine Diseases" Session. During the AASV Annual Meeting, 29 veterinary students interviewed conference speakers to gainadditional information about their presentation topic. This MP3 audio interview is now available to members on the AASV website at https://www.aasv.org/podcast/.
