Does the current Merck vaccine for PCV2 protect against the new strain of PCV2D? In this podcast, student member Trisha Collins interviewed Dr. Erin Strait, Director of U.S. Swine Biological R&D at Merck Animal Health, who presented "Experimental PCV2d challenge of pigs vaccinated with prototype vaccines containing ORF2 from PCV2a, PCV2b or PCV2d" in the "Industrial Partners" Session. During the AASV Annual Meeting, 29 veterinary students interviewed conference speakers to gainadditional information about their presentation topic.
