Southeast Iowa producers who need PQAPlus or TQA certification soon should consider sessions set for June 6 at the Henry County Extension office. Iowa State swine program specialist Tom Miller will lead both sessions -- PQA in the morning and TQA in the afternoon. You can pay the fee onsite, but be sure to preregister to assure adequate materials.

The application deadline for the June 8 Pork Quality Assurance Plus 3.0 Advisor certification session is fast approaching. Organizer Chris Rademacher said the two-page application is required of everyone interested in attending the session during World Pork Expo and is due by Friday, May 26. No walk-ins are allowed.
