Introduction to Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis

Systematic reviews and meta-analysis are increasingly being used to summarize and synthesize the literature - from treatment options in humans or in animals, to evaluating complex interventions or risk factors. We are pleased to announce a series of workshops on conducting systematic reviews and meta-analysis that might be of interest. The series will be offered in the UK or in the US in the summer of 2017. Participants can either take the systematic review module, the meta-analysis module, or both modules. Although the emphasis is on food and feed, the principles apply across a range of topic areas - so all are welcome! There are no specific pre-requisites, but participants should have some background in designing research studies and in basic statistical methods.
