IIAD Bench to Shop Program Accepting Applications
December 21, 2016 —
Do you know any early-career faculty, post-doctoral candidates or graduate students who are interested in transboundary animal diseases and desire to gain the skills needed to take research discoveries to the marketplace?
The Institute for Infectious Animal Diseases’ Bench to Shop program offers a three-week experiential training program (during the summer of 2018) and a five-month online course. The focus is to gain an understanding of the business regulations, federal and international processes, and research requirements for taking basic and/or applied high consequence transboundary animal disease research through technology transition and commercialization.
Additional information can be found on the website at http://vetmed.tamu.edu/benchtoshop. The deadline for applications is March 1, 2017. Please pass this information along to graduate students, post-doctoral candidates, and early-career faculty who may be interested.
