Pork Veterinary Solutions is seeking a Swine Veterinarian with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree and licensed in Indiana to join our practice in New Palestine, Indiana. The Swine Veterinarian will be responsible for providing consulting health and production services to the swine industry. New graduates are encouraged.

About Pork Veterinary Solutions:

Pork Veterinary Solutions is a two-veterinarian practice in central Indiana. We are exclusively a swine veterinary consulting clinic, providing herd health services to clients in Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri and Kansas. We have performed international consultation in Canada, Denmark, the Netherlands, Poland, Ukraine and Mexico. Currently we provide services to over 40 herds in the United States. These herds have a combined production of 1.5 million pigs per year, or approximately 1% of the U.S. pork harvest. More information can be found at http://www.PorkVet.com.

Job Description:

The Swine Veterinarian will be responsible for providing both traditional and progressive consulting services to clients to improve their operation. Our job is to help our clients maximize their bottom line by helping them protect the health and wellbeing of the animals in their care. We do this through a variety of methods including: herd health visits, diagnostic support, employee training, goal setting, production record analysis, benchmarking, follow-up reporting and other value added services.

We are constantly looking for opportunities to help our clients improve in all areas of their operation. We provide consulting services to all sectors of the swine industry including: production, genetics, pharmaceutical, nutrition, records management, government and other allied industry.

Basic Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree with Indiana license
• Federally Accredited
• Willing to Travel
• Physically able to perform job functions
