NIFA & ARS Research Webinar Series
October 12, 2016 —
You are invited to participate in USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture’s (NIFA) and Agricultural Research Service’s webinar series to collect and discuss stakeholder input addressing research, education and extension needs for Animal Health. The Swine Health webinar will be held on Thursday, Oct 20, 1:30 – 4:30 pm ET. Dr. Locke Karriker is the facilitator.
“It is important to keep in mind that these webinars are occurring for a number of species and broad topics. NIFA administrators participate and thoughtfully consider the comments from stakeholders like you,” noted Karriker. “Participating in this webinar on swine health will not only influence how swine research funds are prioritized but may also influence how much resource is available for swine research and programs relative to other species and topics. Please consider participating and helping to communicate an appropriate sense of urgency for swine health funding.”
Registration for each webinar closes the day prior to the scheduled webinar. To register for the webinar(s) of interest, please visit www.nifa.usda.gov/animal-health-stakeholder-webinar-series to view the webinar schedule and topics and access the registration links. Registration is limited.
