AAVM Accepting Abstract Submissions

The Eighth International Conference on Antimicrobial Agents in Veterinary Medicine (AAVM) will be held in Budapest, Hungary from August 23-26, 2016. This forthcoming conference follows the success of the past seven AAVM held in Helsinki, Ottawa, Orlando, Prague, Tel Aviv, Washington DC and Berlin. This conference has emerged as one of the leading meetings in its field, which provides a very intensive program and encourages communication among the attendees. The deadline for abstract submissions is May 23, 2016.
The Organizing Committee welcomes abstract submissions on the following topics:
- Antimicrobial resistance and resistance transfer
- Antimicrobial susceptibility determinations
- Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics as influenced by animal species or infectious disease process
- Clinical research
- In vitro predictions of antimicrobial effectiveness
- In silico tools for predicting the effectiveness of antimicrobial therapies
- Analytical methods and techniques
- Food safety and regulatory issues
- Future directions of antimicrobial therapy and alternative therapeutic targets
