Dr. Thayer Hoover Passes Away

Dr. Thayer "Zip" Hoover, 57, or Spirit Lake, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake. Dr. Hoover received his DVM degree from Iowa State University in 1982. He worked at Pfizer and Zoetis for more than two decades, and had been an AASV member since 1988.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm on Friday, June 26 at Spirit Life Fellowship (2504 Enterprise Ave) in Spirit Lake, with family present from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 27 at 10:00 am, also at Spirit Life Fellowship.
