Honor Rod by Supporting the Auction

Few people have put more passion into the annual AASV Foundation Auction then Dr Rod Johnson. He was a strong proponent of the formation of the Foundation. He and his wife Jean were always among the first to donate an item for the auction each year – usually a generous invitation to spend a few days fishing his beloved Minnesota waters and enjoying Jean’s hospitality. He had the vision that the auction could be so much more than it ever had been. As Foundation President in 2008, he challenged the membership to raise $50,000 – an audacious goal to say the least. The membership responded by raising over $70,000 that year setting high expectations for the future of the Foundation. His continued participation on the auction committee helped raise more than $100,000 in 2013 and 2014! There’s no better way to honor his vision and thank Jean for her support than to donate an item and then participate in the auction by bidding early and often! Donations are due by December 15, 2014.
