Position Announcement: Technical Services Manager - Swine

Huvepharma®, Inc. (USA) seeks a Technical Services Manager-Swine, based (preferably) in the midwest United States and reporting to the Director of Livestock Unit (Swine and Cattle).

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited veterinary college and must have a current veterinary license in a US state.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in swine medicine and/or production management.

• Ability to evaluate pig production systems and to generate intervention strategies to improve herd health, production processes, and production/financial results.

• Ability to design and effectively execute research trials.

• Ability to generate and communicate technical documents/materials to support sales.

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Positive and proactive attitude in group and individual work environments.

• Willingness to travel 40 to 50% of the time to support existing and prospect customers, field investigations and assigned swine business projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and maintain effective professional relationships with customers’ veterinarians and key production staff to enable Huvepharma objectives and product performance.

• Organize and coordinate meetings with customers, veterinarians, and other key stakeholders.

• Organize and carry-out relevant training programs to ensure maximum understanding of Huvepharma products and technology.

• Work together with the other members of the company (technical services, sales and supply chain) to develop strategies aimed to create or add value to the customers through Huvepharma products, technology and/or services.

• Remain current on the latest technologies/discoveries in the veterinary field and establishing a network of industry and academic contacts.

• Maintain confidentiality on Huvepharma proprietary information along with those shared by the customer.
