Dr. Keith Flanagan Passes Away

As e-Letter goes to press, we have been informed of the death today of Dr. Keith Flanagan after being airlifted to Miami from Haiti. Dr. Flanagan received his DVM from Oklahoma State University and was an AASV member. He and his wife Jan served with Christian Veterinary Mission in Haiti since 1987. He was most recently involved with researching an outbreak of Teschens disease in the swine population on the island and presented information about the outbreak to the US Animal Health Association’s Transmissible Diseases of Swine Committee in 2011. We will post any additional information on the AASV website when we receive it.
