2013 International PRRS Symposium – Abstract Deadline

The 2013 International PRRS Symposium is scheduled May 20 – 22 in Beijing, China. The deadline for abstract submission is March 31, 2013. Additional information is available online at http://www.prrssymposium.org.

Symposium Features:

• Latest research information on porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) and related diseases, including porcine circovirus associated disease (PCVAD).
• Keynote and invited talks will be presented by researchers from all over the world.
• Three-day meeting will cover a variety of research topics, including vaccines/immunity, genetic heterogeneity/evolution, virus structure/function, host genetics, pathogenesis and epidemiology/disease control.
• A one-day workshop will be devoted to information for industry, practitioners and producers.
• Registration is $150 US (¥1,000 RMB) and $75 US (¥500 RMB) for students. Registration fee covers all meals during the conference.
• Travel fellowships will be available to support students and post-docs who present at the conference.
• On May 18 and 19, tours of important historical and cultural sites in the Beijing region will be available to participants and guests.
