District Director Ballots Due February 22

Elections are under way for the AASV District Director positions in districts 3, 6, and 8. Ballots have been mailed to the voting members in each district. In District 3 (Arkansas, Kentucky, and Missouri), Dr. Brandon Whitt (Russellville, Arkansas) is on the ballot with incumbent Dr. Bill Starke (Kansas City, Missouri). In District 6 (Iowa), the candidates are Drs. Alex Ramirez and Steve Sornsen (both of Ames, Iowa). In District 8 (Nebraska and South Dakota), incumbent director Dr. Brian Schantz (Laurel, Nebraska) is on the ballot with Dr. Alan Snodgrass (West Point, Nebraska). Ballots must be returned by mail to the AASV by February 22, 2013. The election results will be announced at the AASV Annual Meeting in San Diego.
