Something New in San Diego: 5K by the Bay!

The AASV Membership Committee is stepping out to offer a new activity for AASV members to enjoy together at the annual meeting in San Diego. Step outside the hotel early Sunday morning (March 3) and stretch your legs on a fun 5K Run/Walk arranged especially for AASV! Participants check in at 6:30 AM on the boardwalk behind the Grand Hyatt. The race starts at 7:00 AM (sharp) and loops around on the sidewalks through South Embarcadero Park. Note, pre-registration is required.

Pick your own speed and distance. Once around the course is 2.5K; twice around is 5K. No matter how fast or how far, you'll enjoy the exercise in the fresh seaside air and the competition and company of fellow meeting attendees.

All AASV meeting attendees and their families are welcome to participate. Registration includes your race bib, course map, and insurance, in addition to professional oversight of the race. All proceeds benefit the AASV Foundation.

Fee: $30 per entrant
Preregistration required - no race-day entries.
