AASV Student Members: Check Out Annual Meeting Activities

There are several events planned for veterinary student attendees at the upcoming AASV conference this March in San Diego, California. You can find most of them by following this link: aasv.org/annmtg/2013/students.php. In particular, there are two events we would like to bring to your attention:

All Students: You are encouraged to participate in this year's Vet Hunt. This will give you the chance to network with participating veterinarians and collect their business cards throughout the conference. By participating, you will have the chance to win an Apple iPad, custom necropsy kit, Diseases of Swine book and many other great prizes! Prizes will be awarded at the Student Reception. Details will be included in your registration packet when you check in at the conference.

3rd and 4th year students: Please consider participating in the Speed Interviews! This experience will give you the opportunity to learn about externship opportunities and job openings, while networking with veterinarians. This event will take place on Sunday, March 3 from 5-7:30 PM in Manchester C (2nd level of the Hyatt). Contact AASV Student Delegate Joshua Duff (jwduff@ncsu.edu) to sign up for this activity.
