How would you like a real piece of history to hang on your office wall? Visit the AASV Foundation Auction website to bid on a 1933 FMD Billboard Poster from Lincolnshire, England. Phil Burke donated the original poster issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries outlining all the measures put in place to control an outbreak of Foot and Mouth Disease on the east coast of England. This is a one-of-a-kind reminder of the importance of continued vigilance for emerging diseases.

Once you get the poster home you’re going to want to find the perfect place to display it. How better to do that than to sit down in your office and put your feet up on a couple of elegant leather pig-shaped footstools? Also made in England (you see how all this ties together?), these full-grain leather footstools have an antique finish and are stuffed with woodwool over steel and wood frames. Junior was designed by Associated Engineering of Mankato, MN in 1982 as a promotional item for Wayne Feeds’ baby pig creep feed Wayne Tail Curler Junior. As the story goes, Continental Grain Company decided not to go forward with the promotion and Joe wound up with this prototype – the only one in existence today!
