Position Announcement: Technical Services Veterinarian

Newport Laboratories has an immediate opening for a Technical Services Veterinarian. The position will join Newport’s FACS (Food Animal Care Specialists) team, consisting of DVMs and Research and Development Scientists, and will work in collaboration with sales, marketing and regulatory affairs professionals. The position will work with an emphasis on swine with interest and knowledge in beef and dairy.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Interpretation of diagnostic results
2. Responding to veterinary and technical questions
3. Reporting of sales and technical support activities
4. Sales and Marketing Field support as well as traveling with field sales personnel
5. Frequent presentations to veterinarians and producer groups

The ideal applicant will have a DVM and a minimum of 5 years of veterinary practice or industry experience. Applicants must be self-driven, disciplined, possess an outgoing personality and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Position will reside in Worthington, Minnesota, with some travel required.
