People on the Move: Dr. Joaquim Segales

Dr. Joaquim Segales was recently appointed as the new director of CReSA (Centre de Recerca en Sanitat Animal) in Barcelona, Spain. He replaces Dr Mariano Domingo Álvarez, who has directed the center since it was created 12 years ago. CReSA is a public foundation for animal health research, created by the Institut de Recerca i Tecnologia Agroalimentàries (IRTA) and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), where Dr. Segales is Associate Professor at the veterinary school.
