IPVS 2012: Registration and Abstract Submission Now Open

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 22nd International Pig Veterinary Society Congress (IPVS 2012), it is our great pleasure to extend to you the warmest welcome to Jeju, Korea. The Congress will be held in the Jeju International Convention Center from June 10 to 13, 2012.

The Congress will be held under the theme of "Happy Pigs-Healthy People" and will consist of keynote lectures, satellite symposia, oral presentations, poster sessions, social programs, and a variety of tour programs. Pork consumption in the Asian region is expected to increase more with better future economy. In order to meet the growing needs of the pork consumers, we must grow our industry while improving pig health and producing safe pork. The Organizing Committee is planning to design the best possible programs including high quality scientific sessions that will provide deeper knowledge and open new perspectives on the swine industry. The program will cover every aspect of the swine industry including economically important diseases, new and exotic diseases, production management, feed and nutrition, genetics, welfare, pork safety, etc.

Registration and abstract submission is now up and running for IPVS2012 Korea. The submission deadline is January 31, 2012 and submission guidelines are available online. Early bird registration ends February 28, 2012.
