AASV Foundation Auction Needs Your Support

Have you had a chance to visit the AASV Foundation’s 2012 Auction website yet? There are some really great items there up for bid during the AASV Annual Meeting in Denver, CO on March 12. Thanks to the generous donations from our members, allied organizations and friends, all proceeds go directly to the Foundation to support a variety of programs, awards and student activities. The success of the auction depends on your participation and support.

A quick look at the items up for bid will illustrate the fantastic variety of items and the level of support we’ve received from friends like William Blair and Company and Hermitage NGT both of which have again this year made substantial financial contributions to support the Foundation. Individuals have also contributed handmade items (an AASV Walnut Duck Weathervane from Dr. Chet Rawson) and a collectible figurine (Girl and Pig Figurine sculpted by C. Lomupo) that’s been in Joe Barban’s collection for over 20 years.

In addition to individual and corporate donations, the University of Minnesota’s Veterinary Continuing Education folks have also stepped up by donating a registration to the 39th annual Alan Leman Swine Conference valued at $350.

These are just a few of the items available for bidding. Take the time to view the items and find something you’d like to bid on. We also need a lot of additional items so while you’re perusing the site, download a donation form and show your support as well.
