Call for Papers on Influenza in Pigs

The journal Influenza Research and Treatment has issued a Call for Papers for a special issue entitled Influenza in pigs.

Alicia Solórzano at the University of Maryland (USA), Montserrat Torremorell at the University of Minnesota (USA) and Kristien Van Reeth at Ghent University (Belgium) will lead this special issue.

Influenza Research and Treatment is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and clinical studies related to all aspects of influenza. This is a newly launched journal published by Hindawi and so far it has a few number of publications, therefore, it is not yet indexed by ISI. When the journal gets a sufficient number of publications, it will go under the evaluation process and once the journal is indexed, all published articles will be made available in the ISI. At the moment the articles of Influenza Research and Treatment are indexed/reviewed in the following databases/resources: http://www.hindawi.com/journals/irt/ai/

The special issue will have articles covering different aspects of swine influenza and the deadline for submission of papers will be September 15th, 2011. Instructions for submission can be found at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/irt/guidelines/.
