Janice Schultz, wife of Dr. Roy Schultz, passes

The AASV is saddened to learn of the death of Janice Schultz, wife of AASV past-president and Heritage Award recipient Dr. Roy Schultz. Jan passed away Thursday, July 29 after battling a rare form of duodenal adenocarcinoma for the past three months. She was 74.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, August 1 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at the United Presbyterian Church of Avoca in Avoca, Iowa. The family will be present to greet friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, and a prayer service will be held at 7:30 pm. Funeral services will be held at the United Presbyterian Church of Avoca on Monday, August 2 at 10:30 am, with internment at Graceland Cemetery in Avoca.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Pauley-Jones Funeral Homes. We extend our deepest sympathies to Roy and the Schultz family.
