Position Announcement: Health Assurance Veterinarian

PIC, the international leader in providing genetically superior pig breeding stock and technical support to the global pork chain, is seeking a Health Assurance Veterinarian to provide professional service support to our customers.

Qualified applicants should possess a minimum of three years experience in swine medicine and production. Candidates should exhibit an understanding of modern pork production systems and practical methods for system improvement as well as the ability to effectively work within large pork production systems. Outstanding one-on-one and group/team communication, organizational skills and a willingness to travel both domestically and internationally are also required.

The qualified individual will provide health services to PIC breeding stock multiplication units and PIC customers and assist in applied research and development of novel health technologies.
