Boundary Waters Conference Cancelled

Dr. David Bane, coordinator of the 2009 Boundary Waters Veterinary Conference, has notified the AASV that the conference scheduled for August 13 - 15 has been cancelled.

In announcing the cancellation, Dr. Bane noted that "despite the gracious support of several companies and organizations, a successful conference was not possible due to the difficult economic environment throughout much of agriculture."

Dr. Bane vows to resume the conference as soon as the financial climate improves stating that he was very pleased with past conferences and conference evaluations from attendees were positive.
