Alltech Invites AASV Members to Luncheon at Annual Meeting

Here's something new for the AASV Annual Meeting this year: Alltech is sponsoring a luncheon for AASV members on Sunday, March 8. The luncheon will take place in the Dallas Ballroom C & D from 11:30 - 1:30 pm. Alltech's VP, Aidan Connolly, will be discussing how to "choose responsibly" when faced with bacterial challenges. Lunch will be served at noon. Those planning to attend should RSVP to April Lankford at alankford@alltech.com or 806-457-9577. Alltech's luncheon joins several other sponsored events at the AASV 2009 Annual Meeting, including the Sunday morning Prayer Breakfast (Newsham Choice Genetics), the Welcome Reception on Sunday evening (Fort Dodge and Wyeth Animal Health), the Student Reception (Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health), Monday's Luncheon (Boehringer-Ingelheim), and the AASV Awards Reception (Elanco Animal Health). In addition, Alpharma sponsors the Student Seminar and Poster Session and top Student Scholarship, Elanco funds 14 Student Scholarships, Newport Laboratories sponsors the Veterinary Student Travel Stipends, and Novartis Animal Health hosts the Internet Kiosk.
