Safepork International Symposium
August 19, 2009 —
The 8th Safepork International Symposium is scheduled to be held in Québec City, Canada September 30 to October 2, 2009.
The 8th International Symposium on the Epidemiology and Control of Foodborne Pathogens in Pork has been designed to promote new knowledge about current and emerging foodborne pathogens in swine and pork worldwide. The Organizing Committee has worked diligently to produce a great learning and networking event conducive to an international exchange of ideas on research and policy issues related to the control of foodborne pathogens in pork within a farm-to-fork approach.
In the upcoming edition in Québec City, participants will be able to share research results, take part in international discussions about food safety in pork, and attend a workshop about the development of control strategies for countries in transition.
