QAV Trichinae Training offered at AASV Annual Meeting
January 21, 2009 — AASV Staff
The Trichinae Certification Program is now an official USDA program. Via on-farm audits performed by Qualified Accredited Veterinarians, the program provides documentation of swine management practices which minimize risk of exposure of swine to Trichinella spiralis. Training will be conducted at the AASV 2009 Annual Meeting in Dallas for US veterinarians interested in obtaining QAV status in the Trichinae Certification Program. The description of the training is included in the AASV meeting program book, but the sign-up for the training was omitted from the meeting registration form. If you wish to participate in the training, please enter your registration online or contact the AASV (515-465-5255 or aasv@aasv.org).
