Position Announcement: Swine Veterinarian

M2P2, LLC is seeking a full time swine veterinarian to serve as the system veterinarian for its farrow to finish operations. Candidates must be willing to reside in the Ames, Iowa area, and be willing to travel to locations in Iowa, Colorado, Oklahoma, and North Carolina.

Responsibilities will include:

• Provide strategic vision and planning for health related objectives.

• Communicate and coordinate with other support veterinarians working within the system.

• Provide diagnostic and interpretive expertise for health challenges.

• Work within the live production team as a teammate, and be a contributor to improving all phases of production.

• Maintain professional relationships with key resources to leverage new knowledge in the production system.

• Evaluate new products, strategies, and health interventions to develop system processes and protocols.
