Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica is seeking a Professional Services Veterinarian with large production system experience for our swine segment in the Midwest.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Provide technical support for appropriate vaccine usage to swine veterinarians and large production systems

• Assist in product training to sales and marketing personnel

• Design, conduct, monitor, analyze and report on product support field trials

• Develop and implement Key Opinion Leader activities to advance product awareness and knowledge

• Review and prepare a written analysis for assigned research reports, scientific literature and abstracts

• Investigate and report on product complaints and disease breaks through problem resolution strategies

Experience Required:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with an excellent knowledge of swine production and health

• Advanced graduate degree or board certification is desirable

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a swine practice or a production system

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills necessary

• Basic computer skills
