Don?t Forget ? AASV Foundation Auction

As you hopefully know by now, the AASV Foundation is holding its fundraising auction on Monday night during the 2008 AASV Annual meeting in San Diego, CA.

The auction committee has challenged our membership to make this the most successful auction ever setting a Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) of raising $50,000 to support programs sponsored by the Foundation. Programs include student scholarships, the Alex Hogg Memorial Scholarship, research grants, travel stipends for students, externship grants and the Heritage Award just to name a few.

The committee has done a fabulous job acquiring a tremendous array of items for the auction. Everything from art work, crafts, food, grills, home electronics, trips you name it. And, there's some very special items this year: a handmade quilt in memory of Dr. Bernie Curran, a pig figurine from the collection of Alex Hogg, and an Brett Favre autographed football (as you know, he's just announced his retirement!).
