AASV Member Offers Some Thoughts About Dr. Curran
June 27, 2007 — Dr. Paul Armbrecht
Dr. Paul Armbrecht offered the following comments upon hearing of the recent passing of Dr. Bernie Curran. He agreed to allow me to reprint his thoughts.
"The death of Bernie Curran should give many of us reason to reflect. We all are both fragile and tough. I had the privilege and honor to know Bernie for most of his practice life. He stood for principle and integrity and truly lived it. His wife, Mary Ann, was a visible presence at AASV activities. The practitioner "family" should not forget her just because Bernie is gone. The influence that he had on the profession and our organization was striking. Help keep us out of the ditch, Bernie. Lead on!!"
