AMS reopens comment period for COOL rule

USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) has reopened the comment period for 60 days for the proposed rule for mandatory country-of-origin labeling for beef, lamb and pork.
Comments on the rule, published in the Federal Register on Oct. 30, 2003 (68 Fed. Reg. 61944), must be submitted by Aug. 20, 2007.
