Register now: Advanced Techniques for Swine Veterinarians

Seven swine practitioners - recent graduates to seasoned veterans - met last fall to develop the AASV's latest offering of continuing education. The result, Advanced Techniques for Swine Veterinarians, is a combination of lecture and lab presentations designed to provide AASV members with cutting-edge tools and skills to enhance their value in today's challenging practice environment. Enrollment is limited for the two-day program, which features sessions on information management, diagnostics, reproduction, and project management. The conference is scheduled for June 4-6 in Ames, Iowa, just prior to the World Pork Expo in Des Moines.

Conference sponsors Pfizer Animal Health, Novartis Animal Health US, Newport Laboratories, Merial, MVP Laboratories, Fort Dodge Animal Health, and Elanco Animal Health are providing financial support for the evening social gatherings, which include a welcome reception on Monday, June 4, and the Practice Tips Dinner on Tuesday, June 5.

Oh yes, those seven swine practitioners who developed the program? They are Drs. Mike Mull (chair), C. Scanlon Daniels, Jeff Harker, Erin Johnson, Randy Jones, Locke Karriker, and Jason Kelly. We think you'll be pleased with their efforts!
