BI Receives Approval for Circovirus Vaccine

Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Inc.(BIVI) has received USDA approval for Ingelvac® CircoFLEX? to protect swine against diseases caused by porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2).
The vaccine, which will not be widely available until the first quarter of 2007, is a single dose, 1 ml product with a 21-day withdrawal. It is labeled for use in pigs as young as three weeks of age.
