Novartis Animal Health US, Inc., a leader in the development and manufacturing of biological products for veterinary use, is looking for the following professional:

Professional Services Vet, Swine

This is a field-based position covering Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska. General responsibilities will include:

• Communicate technical details of swine products to veterinarians and producers.
• Direct interaction with custom (autogenous) vaccine development and production.
• Give science based presentations to both veterinarians and producers.
• Consult with R&D on projects and new products.
• Production medicine consultation with producers and veterinarians.
• Interact with the Pharmacovigilance group.
• Work actively with advertising ideas, actual advertising copy, and ad-editor.
• Provide technical and sales support at trade and buying shows.
• Work with swine Territory Managers on sales calls.
• Present new product information and general scientific information at sales meetings.

DVM Degree (required).
Must have good communication skills and good record keeping abilities.
Experience with animal health product sales and/or swine production medicine preferred.
