Abstracts for Student Seminar & Veterinary Student Scholarships due September 22

Veterinary students interested in participating in the Student Seminar at the AASV 2007 Annual Meeting and competing for a total of $25,000 in veterinary student scholarships must submit their abstract and supporting materials no later than Friday, September 22. Details for submission are available at http://www.aasv.org/annmtg/2007/studentseminar.htm, and should be followed carefully.

Alpharma Animal Health funds a $750 stipend for each of the 15 students selected to make oral presentations during the meeting. These student presentations will be judged to determine the winner of a $5,000 scholarship funded by Alpharma and $20,000 in additional runners-up scholarships funded by Elanco Animal Health. As many as fifteen additional students may be selected to present their information in poster format and will each receive a $250 stipend, courtesy of Alpharma.
