Triumph Foods Expands in Illinois

Triumph Foods has announced plans to construct a new pork processing facility in East Moline, IL.

Construction on the $135 million 620,000 square foot plant, which will employ 1000 people by 2010, is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2007 with completion estimated for first quarter 2009. The facility will conduct pork processing only with no hog confinement planned.
