Zoetis: Heritage Feeds Tomorrow. Pride. Commitment. Purpose. Values to carry you

Have you provided feedback for NAHMS 2006?

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Animal Health Monitoring System (NAHMS) is in the planning stages for the Swine 2006 national study, and invites U.S. AASV members to participate in a brief survey to help determine the specific objectives of the study. Survey responses will help ensure the Swine 2006 study addresses the most important issues of the pork industry. If you haven't already completed the brief (13 question) survey - either by mail or electronically - please do so by November 23. The survey may be accessed at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=435711439320.

The last NAHMS swine study, Swine 2000, contributed greatly to the knowledge of producer management practices. NAHMS intends to update this information in the Swine 2006 study.

Plans call for 17 states to participate in the Swine 2006 study. The study begins in July 2006. For more information on NAHMS studies, go to http://nahms.aphis.usda.gov.

If you experience any difficulty accessing the survey, please contact the AASV office: 515-465-5255 or aasv@aasv.org.
