AASV Foundation Funded Research: Final Report Available

In 2017, the AASV Foundation granted $30,000 to Dr Jianqiang Zhang and co-investigators at Iowa State University to fund the project "Comparison of PRRSV virus isolation in different cell lines towards improving success of isolating PRRSV from clinical samples." The project is complete and the final report is available.

The goal was to improve the success of PRRS virus isolation attempts when requested by swine practitioners for autogenous vaccine production or further characterization.
